An occupation: spammer

Let’s say that you are a person that has something to sell – for example e-books. You do not have too much money to spend on getting legal advertisement so you decide to “hire” spammers. They are much cheaper and their methods are much more effective. There are even special companies that send bulk email. Those companies can send millions of spam a day! They also have their own ways to avoid laws and also to overcome your Spam filter or a spam blocker. There are hundreds of companies of that kind in each country.

Try using a searching engine to look for offers like that. There are tons of ads that offers you sending emails to thousands of people a day for quite a cheap price. Is that legal? Well, you cannot find a clear answer to that question. Well it may not be legal but it is not illegal either. When you visit a say and when you register on it there sometimes is a message “unclick the check box if you do not want to receive emails from our partners”.

If you do not unclick it then owners of that site can easily sell your email address to companies that send spam messages. Your email address is a yummy cake for them and they even get money from it! And you? All you get is an inbox full of spam.
